Harry did a fantastic job removing a tree from our property. He arrived with all the necessary equipment and efficiently took care of the tree and treated the stump to prevent shoots growing back. My garden consists of a few feet of level lawn then rises steeply as part of a railway embankment.
The garden was severely overgrown, had damaged and fallen trees that were impossible to get to to make safe, and required a professional assessment to make it manageable for future use.
Mark assessed the area to be opened up and told me it would be a days work, and organised a date which would obviously be weather dependent due to the steep incline.
To say that that I am overwhelmed by the outcome is an understatement. I am in awe of how much was possible in one day and really appreciate the thought that went into aesthetics as much as the back-breaking graft of clearing back.
The amount of light that now reaches the rest of the garden and the house is amazing. The trees chosen to be left in situ are now safe, have the space to breathe and are shaping well. Shrubs that were unruly and had no previous maintenance were taken right back and have started with new growth which is easy to keep in shape, plus the enormous amount of wood chipping that was generated (and I asked to be left) has been a boon for neighbours as well as myself!
I can now get up onto the embankment safely to keep up with the general maintenance, and have been able to appreciate colour in my garden as the plants are getting the sunlight they need.
I genuinely can't thank Mark & Hill Fort and Fleur of White Goose Flower farm enough for their advice and guidance with this ongoing project. Their foresight, and hard slog has made all the difference in the world.
