Visited today and it exceeded my expectations. We spent a lovely few hours exploring the gardens then had tea and cake. Samantha is so lovely and knowledgeable and her husband Martin gave us some great information of how their dream evolved while we were sat in the garden room with him.
Will definitely be back and can’t wait to see the gardens mature.

I visited Bardney Manor today with Market Rasen Garden Club. What an absolute delight! We had a lovely afternoon hosted by Samantha and Martin looking around their beautiful garden followed by a lovely afternoon tea. I would highly recommend a trip to Bardney Manor and would definitely go again👍

We came here for a plant sale. It's a lovely garden, still in its infancy, but showing great potential. Well worth a visit.

I enjoyed an absolutley wonderful visit to the Walled Gardens and grounds of the Manor last summer, when Samantha was in the earlier stages of restoring the Gardens to their former glory, and beyond. The research and work that has, and is, going into this project is phenomenal. Samantha is a font of knowledge about the history of the house and the site, and despite living in Lincolnshire for most of my life, I had no idea that such a botanically important place existed. I learned so much from my time there, and I can't wait to visit again next year, to see all of the new developments. I was made to feel really welcome when I visited, and I heartily recommend this to anyone who's interested not only in plants, but also somewhere of such significant local historic interest. Highly recommended, all round!

Beautiful garden. Samantha gave an interesting talk about the history of the Manor and it's gardens. Well worth a visit.

The most wonderful visit today. The host gave us an abundance of time and attention - I learnt so much from her about the rich botanical history the place and various horticulture topics. We came to visit for an art exhibition by local Lincolnshire artist Linda Ingham but we stayed for tea and cakes and came away with fresh eggs and plants that were for sale grown at the manor. We also spent time in the stunning garden. We plan to return in June to see the David Austin Roses in bloom.

Smallish walked garden ( by comparison to some ) but steeped in horticultural history .Still under development but another year should see it come to fruition..

Visited the gardens a few weeks ago for the first time and again for Mother's day afternoon tea yesterday.

The gardens themselves are in their infancy, but they are lovely to look at and it is interesting to see them change with the seasons. There are plans to open more of the gardens in the future and it sounds wonderful.

Historically the manor and gardens are interesting places and if you get the chance to talk to Sam, the lady of the manor, she is very knowledgeable and passionate. Sam is more than happy to talk about the history and future plans for the manor and gardens and is a joy to talk to!

The afternoon tea was delightful. Everything tasted amazing and on talking to Sam (who is so hands on in the manor that she was part of the crew for afternoon tea), it is clear that a lot of thought goes into absoultely everything for the occasion to make the experience the best it can be.

Although I have only mentioned Sam as a host so far, I have spoken to a few others at the gardens and everyone has been lovely and clearly enjoy what they are doing!

I am looking forward to returning for future events and to see how to gardens change in the seasons. I have heard talks of manor tours, an in-costume period play and an art exhibit being planned! I would be delighted to attend any and all of these.

I would recommend visiting if you are a fan of gardening or history, or if you would like somewhere to relax for a while. I would recommend phoning ahead to see if there is space for afternoon tea as the tea room has limited space.
