Lovely little garden centre with a really great array of plants and even trees. It looks well maintained and the plants look very healthy and looked after! Nice array of stone sculptures and bird baths- my favourite was the bill & ben! Shame about the cafe being permanently closed as that’s the reason we came by from being in the area, but it was nice to have a walk around and see the animals nearby too! 😊

I found Sunk Island via the algorithms of Facebook. I have placed 2 orders with them and am very happy with their service and products.
The second order I placed on a Friday evening and within 30 minutes I had received an email saying that they didn't want the plants sitting in transit over the weekend so would process the order on the Monday morning. Very considerate, I thought.
Their packaging is excellent - sturdy wrapping and plenty of straw so everything arrives in pristine condition.

Absolutely love this place. We always leave with something different, tropical of course. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything we purchased has flourished.

Received my first online order today, plants were packed very carefully and there was no damage for transit whatsoever. I made my order on Monday night and received on Wednesday morning.

The standard of the plants I received are excellent quality which for the price, is superb value.

Also, they sent an extra Begonia torso as an extra as they felt one of the plants were a little small. Whilst freebies should not be expected, it’s this type of experience and gesture that’s shows the value of working with independent experts who have a passion for their craft.

I still want to make the journey over to the garden centre at some point this year but I couldn’t fault any part of my experience buying online from Sunk Island and highly recommend them, they are my new go to for exotic plants.
