Oh this place was magical. "Garden centre" doesn't describe it. It's the most idyllic show garden/nursery/tea room combination imaginable.

The lady that runs it grows the most incredible plants I've seen. I'm an avid gardener but there were so many varieties I've never seen before. I ended up with a boatload.

I couldn't recommend it more highly. The whole day has been a wonderful experience, and I know I'll be going back often. I want to see it in every season.

The most beautiful walled garden tended lovingly by Alison. The plants are healthy with many things there that you just wouldn't find at a garden centre. Can highly recommend the sheep wool compost too! Well worth a visit.

We visited this amazing place for the first time today and can honestly say I am so happy that we did. We are keen gardeners and have, over the years visited a wealth of well known high profile gardens in England and France. Without doubt the Walled Garden is in the top three. Setting, beautiful; plantings, perfection, plants for sale, presented with care and tended by two individuals who both know what they are doing and take pride in the quality of their plants. An amazing garden nestled in the Beacons just outside Brecon. Not only do you get the beautiful flowers and shrubs but also birds and butterflies. Cake, tea and coffee available with seats dotted around the garden and you can buy plants to take home you've seen in the gardens. Alison is always on hand to offer advice.
